Düsseldorf Showroom is Now Open

Koleksiyon, manufacturer of innovative solutions for contemporary work culture, has opened its first German showroom in Düsseldorf’s Medienhafen with an exclusive pre-opening event on 24.11.2016.

The Koleksiyon Showroom with its 47 m continuous glass facade allows for a spectacular view of the river Rhine. About twenty invited guests, mainly architects, were excited about the generously and with great attention to detail designed showroom. They informed themselves during personal conversations about the product portfolio for offices and project business which has been awarded many times. They also intently followed a lecture by board member and brand & design director Koray Malhan about “Design and Pathos“. In it, Malhan introduced his approach to design as a universal grammer rather than as a process related to pure aesthetics. “The title of the talk “Design and Pathos” refers to the structural links between language, music, art and architecture as serious cognitive parts of our species that make us human“, he explains.

After the lecture, there was a celebration with selected wines and delicacies. “We aimed at promoting a creative dialogue during a casual get-together”, emphasized Dirk Boll, managing director in Germany. Koleksiyon will host further soft openings for a small circle of architects and specialist dealers at a time in the upcoming months. A grand opening is planned for the beginning of 2017.

Koleksiyon‘s approximately 800 m²-showroom is located on the ground floor of the Ingenhoven building at Kaistraße 16a. Here, Koleksiyon presents not only new highlights of this year but also comprehensive solutions for work places, meetings, lounges and conferences. With its product range of carpets, glassware, chinaware and decoration pieces next to furniture, Koleksiyon wants to act as a full-service operator in the market.

From the Düsseldorf location Koleksiyon will oversee projects in Germany and more European countries in the future and proceed with its expansion path in Western Europe.
